Ronald Kim

Ronald Kim is the former Mayor of Saratoga Springs, New York and a valued member of Solomon Law Firm, LLC with more than 20 years of experience representing employees, consumers and other individuals. Ron has successfully represented female correction officers after their employer discriminated against them based on their pregnancy, several individuals employed by public and private entities who were denied reasonable accommodations to their disabilities and a number of individuals who were confronted with ageism, racism and violations of statutory rights including the Family Medical Leave Act and the New York Child Victims Act. In addition, Ron has extensive experience representing consumers in the bankruptcy and state court.
Ron was born and raised in upstate New York, graduating from Colgate University and receiving a master’s degree from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy Studies prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law.
Previously Ron was an associate at the Boston-based law firm of Goodwin, and the Executive Director of Earth Share of New York and Commissioner of Public Safety for the City of Saratoga Springs. He has served as the Chairman of the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York and President of the Capital Region Bankruptcy Bar Association and is a member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York.
